EveryGUI, a program every UNIX user should take a look at. It could be just the thing you are looking for. You know a real sweet command, but it has no GUI interface yet, and a lot of people want to use it (at work, or home). Just quickly put something together with EveryGUI and done!

There is only one year-wrap-up I look forward to each time, and that is The LWN Linux/free software timeline. Last year was pretty boring, dominated mostly by SCO silliness. This time it's a nice read and it amazes me each time how fast time goes by and which things you tend to forget and remember.
